Ditto for getting started, there’s another site that spams me about contests every two weeks but you’re supposed to come up with everything from scratch.
We’ve been getting some very interesting submissions. All great stuff so far! Honestly, we just threw together some recent packs for this. We have no clue how these sounds will piece together. I guess it’s for all you geniuses to figure out! Good luck homie and look forward to hearing your track!
We can EQ tha sounds right? Because the drums I’m using sound quite a bit different now that I added reverb, pitch ect. I’ve also reversed and used a gater effect on some of the melody loops, that’s allowed right?
Peep out my beats and please rate and critique them. I’ve been teaching myself how to produce, mix and master music since I was eight years old. Think I’ve got a good grasp of it now. One.

And I think I might I have sum issues cause That Didgeridoo Thang I got it makin sum really strange noises Did sum crazy ish wit it and It sounds like a guitar and some one goin Uhhh” sum 1 let me know if I should attach what I did 2 it.. cause I have a feelin u are gonna think I used other noises when I didnt… Just experimented till I got the effect I wanted…
Preciate it and cant wait to hear what everybody else came up wt…

YES on all counts. You can do whatever you want with these samples, EQ, pitch shift, process, whatever. As long as you are ONLY using loops and sample sounds from the FREE sounds pack we provided you are good. After that, get as creative as you want with these sounds.

What happens if the track contains sounds so distorted from the original that it’s impossible to tell by ear wether they were from the provided samples? Might we have to submit our session tracks as proof?

1. Are we going to be allowed to listen to each others productions, especially the top 3?
2. Does submitting it later than other people hurt our chances of reigning top 3?

As long as you submit by November 10th you will have an equal chance. There is no advantage to entering earlier.
