P5Audio is back with the first flash beat contest winner of 2012! Last week we gave you music producers four folders with free sounds from four different music genres. Your challenge was to create a hip hop beat, using sounds from each of the 4 folder genres provided. Contestants had 7 days to make their beat and we had 34 entries total! We’d like to thank each and every music producer who took the time to enter, and / or comment on these entries. Big shoutouts to the entire P5audio Flash Beat Commuity! Now time to announce the winner!…
The rules:
This beat competition was free to enter. We provided a zip file with free sounds from four of our products. The file included Ambient music loops, Rock Guitar music loops, a Reggae loop set, and Dubstep sample sounds. Music Producers had to create a beat using at least one element from each sound folder provided, and were not allowed to use any additional sounds. They could tweak, mix and match and “f with” the sounds any way they liked, but they had to restrict themselves to using ONLY the sounds provided.
