one question…. How many of the sounds are we required to use?

SenturyStatus January 28, 2011 at 10:16 am

This is going to be a dope battle !

Good Luck To All Contenders , Thanks P5 Audio for hosting another contest .

David Whiteside January 28, 2011 at 6:46 pm

@mooch – As little or as much as you’d like. The guitar and / or bass just need to be the main element of the beat.

@SenturyStatus – Anytime homie!

So we can only use the download sounds above or can we use the whole entire detox kit? Because in the downloaded sounds, there is no guitar loops.

David Whiteside January 28, 2011 at 9:17 pm

AHHH! We see what the problem is. The free sample that we attached to this contest is from our West Coast G Funk Loop Sets… not our West Coast Detox loops…. SO CHANGE IN NAME….
Using the same samples…. following the same rules. Make a beat, using the free sounds we provided. (They are not guitar sounds, they are a west coast loop set.). You can use any part of them you wish, just make it a featured element in the track. And you have to use some instruments, not just the drums.
AGAIN! The free sounds are the same. They have not been changed. The rules are the same except for the bit about having to use the guitar.
If any of you are confused… let us know. SORRY for the mix up….
