First off, we want to thank all you beat makers for entering this competition! Seriously, you all can produce your asses off!!! We were so blown away by what you all did with these sound packs; and it was a true honor to listen to the amazing effort each and everyone of you put into your tracks. With over 200 entries, judging this competition was not easy by any means; but after days of listening to these awesome beats, we think we narrowed it down to the cream of the crop. NOW to the competition…
Quickly, let’s recap what the rules were:
You had to make a Hip Hop, RnB, Pop or Dance beat using ONLY the FREE sounds provided.
These were a strange mix of sounds we admit. They included the following sound packs…
So the contestants had to use some Kanye style sounds, mix them with some Australian World Sounds, Hip Hop guitars and Drum samples… this yielded some pretty interesting stuff.
The top 3 winners will receive:
First Place: $500 cash, $200 in P5audio sounds
Second Place: $200 in P5audio sounds
Third Place: $100 in P5audio sounds
The seven runners up will receive a $20 coupon for P5audio.com.

Should have done a top 20 producers for this contest…Give other producers props….and honarable mention. I hear some other tracks that should have place better, than the one you selected as winners.The winner’s beginning’s were hot but that’s about it. I don’t recall you guy giving scratching/scratch samples in the contest sample packs. Maybe you will take this in consideration for the RB contest you guys do next…I hear Illegal sounds lets keep it real

Jo CSI: We checked all of these sounds to make sure they were from the sound packs, that is one reason they ranked highly. These producers had some really creative ways to warp their sounds. Any Producers who used extra sounds got disqualified!
