What I would recommend for anyone who wants to produce music, or any kind, is to take some piano lessons. This will tremendously improve your skills in so many ways. Not only will you be able to recognize keys and match bass-lines by pitch, but your rhythmical sense would grately improve; and you will be exposed to new chords and new music styles. Trust me, after just a few lessons you will see a dramatic difference. Hope this helps. In the meantime, post any file names you need to find pitches for, and we'll find the key signature for you.
